What Makes Us Different?
Unlike traditional birth centers, we offer an open model that invites independent community midwives and other wellness practitioners to bring their own clients to into our community space. With almost 3,000sq ft we provide:

We’re not just a facility, we’re a collective of professionals dedicated to holistic family centered care in the DFW area.
Both our birth suites are thoughtfully designed with all the comforts of home. With spacious birthing tubs, diffusers, a variety of birthing balls, a birthing stool and birth swing. Everything needed to support your goals of a natural birth.

Our Story
After years in a high-volume birth center practice, Jenn and Elizabeth felt called to return to the heart of midwifery offering personalized, relationshipcentered care. As home birth mothers themselves, they cherish the intimacy of home birth and continue to offer that option. At the same time, they understand that many families feel most comfortable giving birth in a birth center, especially those who live farther from a hospital wanting to have midwifery care.
They envisioned something more: a space where families aren't limited by location or practice model, and where they can choose the midwife or midwife team they connect with most. A place where midwives could bring their own clients, where community classes could be taught, and where collaboration is not just possible but encouraged.
Out of that vision, DFW Community Birth & Wellness was born.
More than just a licensed birth center, we are an open model holistic wellness collective. Offering flexible space for independent midwives, doulas, childbirth educators, and holistic providers. We are proud to foster a growing doula network and host educational opportunities that support not only families but midwives and birth workers.
We believe birth belongs to families and that care thrives in community.
